Holy Loch Brokerage operates within Holy Loch Marina offering an expert and personal service to assist buyers and sellers of Yachts, Power and Commercial Craft.
We are full members of our professional association "ABYA".
Unusually we offer our customers services such as valleting, refurbishing and refinishing. Should a sale or purchase be pending due to the bits that generate, rotate, heat up, or cool down, performing poorly, we have the knowledge and skills (in house) to get down and get dirty.
For Holy Loch Marina visiting and berthing please contact: www.holylochmarina.co.uk - this is one of the Clyde's finest, friendliest & sheltered marinas, the immediate area has a rich history, two famous yacht yards flourished here Robertsons and Morris & Lorrimer, Robert Napier the famous marine engineer built Kilmun pier opposite the marina, Kilmun Churchyard alone may make your visit unforgetable.
An increasing amount of berth holders at HLM live hundreds of miles away. WHY?
The gentle pace - perhaps
The sea and bird life - perhaps

34' Moody 34
1985
£42,500
Moody 34 Unmodified and unspoiled condition, present owner for 20 years.
Center cockpit with connecting walkway.
Berths for 6 in 3 warm air heated cabins, the forecabin can be 2 singles or a double, the saloon is large and comfortable with a double drop leaf table.
The aft cabin is very impressive, accessed from the saloon there is sitting room to starboard with the fixed double berth to port, a vanity unit / desk is on the centerline facing forward, storage abounds in each cabin and throughout the vessel.
The heads compartment is immediately to port of the companionway and incorporates the sea toilet, hand basin and shower, the floor area is a fiberglass moulding, an electric pump removes shower water.
The Nav station is for'd of the head and is all you would hope for in a vessel such as this.
The galley is to starboard of the companionway - generous worktops, a stainless sink with hot and cold pressurised water a cooker with 2 burners grill and oven, there is a recent Waeco refridgeration unit which runs from the ships 12 volts or 240volt shorepower.
The Thorneycroft 90 engine looks only a few years old, the makers paint is still bright and clean indeed a 1985 paper quality check label remains attached to the engine, the Hurth gearbox is a good choice and less problematic than some others that have been fitted to these engines. there are 2 house batteries and an engine start battery. Unlike a lot of yachts engine access is superb.
The hull was gelshielded some years ago and appears in excellent condition, the topsides are in original gelcoat and free from obvious defects.
Sails include Main - stowed in a stackpak type arrangement with lazyjacks, there is a furling genoa, a spinaker and a cruising chute, the spinnaker pole is telescopic.
The attached "Full Spec" gives the details of equipment but the overview of this boat is: You are not buying a tired boat but a Moody 34 that's "just run in". The owner has bought another Moody so this 34 is very much for sale come along and see her.
