34' Trawler Ferro built
1981 £25,000

Big Strong and Handsome. 34'X14'X5'
>Built to fish and built to a high standard she has a yacht finish, her 6 cylinder Gardner and twin disc gearbox were rebuilt by Seaward Engineering at a cost in excess of £16,000, her 2.5" propshaft and cutlass were at the same time replaced as was her hydraulic steering.
For the last few years she was worked on undercover where in excess of £38,000 was spent, at that time a Cygnus marine wheelhouse was fitted, a new mast and derek were manufactured, a stainless steel gantry was built and beutifull hardwood bulwarks and rubrails were crafted by the respected boatbuider John Hill.
>The stern deck forms a large working platform, both hatches and their upstands are stainless fabrications, The wheelhouse is lined and comfortable -a stair leads down to the saloon , there a 2 bunks to port , the galley is to starboard, forward the head is to port with a further bunk to starboard this area has a large floor area. >Equipment includes the Lister Petter handstart generator, the main engine has a clutched fire/bilge and deckwash pump, plus manual bilge pump, a VHF radio , seafarer Depth unit, fire extuingishers, Liferaft, 45 LB Plough anchor etc.
Like many boats - the people that build and restore them are often not the ones to gain a lot of reward from their efforts, this boat follows that pattern - you the next owner will surely have appreciation for previous owners efforts.
